"ILLUSION"

A prancing Prima Donna takes the stage,
And thousands rise to sing and clap their hands,
Electrifying those of any age,
And mesmerizing rows and rows of fans.
This Charismatic figure represents
A fantasy from life that is escape.
For hours the audience transcends to face.
Beloved, worshiped, idolized, revered,
A talent and a quintessential scamp.
This icon fosters whispers that say weird,
The master of the far far out and camp.
A silent killer robbed him of his prime,
"For too much love will kill you every time."
